Meetings

All meetings are free to all and held the 2nd Monday of each month from 7:30 – 9 p.m. in the McNamara Center of Ascencion/Via Christi – St. Joseph Hospital, 3600 E. Harry Street, 3rd level, Wichita, Kansas. Light refreshments provided by the hospital.

A volunteer coordinating committee of prostate cancer survivors arrange each meeting to include what we call “Open Forum” every other month where those attending can bring up questions/concerns regarding their prostate cancer or be there to address those questions/concerns from their own experiences. On alternate months we either have DVD presentations by top physicians specializing in research and treatment of prostate cancer from the most recent Annual Prostate Cancer Research Institute/PCRI Conference on Prostate Cancer held in Los Angeles each September, or presentations by area professionals regarding treatment of all areas of prostate cancer. Men concerned about prostate cancer, their spouses, caregivers, and other adult family friends are encouraged to attend. Man to man sharing is available to help anyone find answers to particular concerns.
